It is a thrilling tale of people who chose to take action. Instead of complaining, they decided to transform waste into innovative solutions, and create opportunities for those whom society has forgotten— especially internally displaced women and youth without income!

Agrolight emerged from a simple yet powerfully enthusiastic idea:

It all started with a training course on the circular economy. At the end of the session, Agrolight co-founder, who was participating in the workshop, approached the trainer to discuss an idea he had been mulling over for some time: what if we used banana tree trunks to make eco-friendly bags?

Pollution is increasing,

forests are disappearing,

and vulnerable communities are being left behind.

Rather than letting the idea fade away in a notebook or voice memo, they decided to take action!

Step by step, they constructed a real, innovative system for recycling agricultural waste!

...and this is how Agrolight was born!

An organisation led by two passionate young individuals who believe it is absolutely possible to protect the environment, reduce deforestation, and at the same time create exciting jobs by using what others throw away!

This is not merely a perfect story, nor is it a scripted adventure.
