How it all started...

grolight was born from a simple meeting, a shared concern, and one powerful idea :

That question sparked a conversation — and soon, a movement.

As the discussion flowed, they realised they shared a common ambition :

To find a tangible solution to plastic pollution while creating meaningful opportunities for vulnerable individuals.

It all began during a training session on the circular economy.

At the end of the workshop, one of Agrolight’s co-founders approached the trainer with a bold question:

"What if we used banana tree trunks to make eco-friendly bags?"

Pollution is increasing,

forests are disappearing,

and vulnerable communities are being left behind.

This is how Agrolight Cameroon was born — from vision to action, from waste to worth.
